Do you know what money is? The overwhelming majority of people in high places who control monetary, business, and economic policies don’t know what it is. They never have, and if we don’t teach them, they never will. There are no classes, textbooks, or manuals, except those written by those who don’t understand what it is; and they hide the ignore-ance of their ignorance in the magnanimous verbosity of “the frigid calculus of economics.”
Money, the monetization of value, is printed, distributed, and controlled by wealthy detached people who play with it like it was “Monopoly.” They don’t know what money is. If they don’t know, who does? The answer is everyone who finds their best efforts insufficient to provide for their needs, and the needs of the vulnerable people in their care.
Hundreds of people needlessly die, daily, because they lack the ability to obtain money. Millions, suffer curable conditions, from which they will not recover, because they have no access to money. Tens of millions of people and the vulnerable in their care, are denied adequate money to allow them to participate in economic activity. They will put their faith in antinomic enterprise. If any of these calamities were to befall even one person, it would be tragic, but there are millions. You would have to be blind not to notice. If you notice, and don’t care, what are you?
Money is a resource that is used to lubricate an economic system, the purpose of which is to provide safety and general welfare to citizens. The government’s role is to protect its citizens from enemies. Those who monopolize the control of currency are not friends.
The government’s monetary responsibility is to break monopolies that economically attack any citizen, even one, and certainly not millions.
