Economic Malfunction

Danger, unpopular facts are included. Read at your own risk.

The worlds major problems are always viewed as political malfunctions or moral malfunctions. The fact is that they are neither. Political malfunctions and moral malfunctions are symptomatic of the underlying economic malfunction, “E.M.”

Everybody knows about E.M., but it seems so insidious that we try to survive it rather than repair it. Regressing back to the law of the jungle doesn’t seem to be a good solution. Kind people disappear first. Progress should be toward where we take care of each other.

Economics is only studied as a survival trait. It needs to be studied as a repair strategy, to fix the world’s maladies. In order for that to happen people have to change their behavior. Politics and morality will clean up when we allow light on the economic chaos. It is just like your kitchen. You can’t clean it, until you turn on the light.

Economics has very little to do with GDP. It has everything to do with the quality of all people’s lives. There are two traits to measure, kindness, and competence. Functioning properly economics increases the quality of the human environment.

Economics is about kindness and proportion. The importance of economic application to the solution of the problems plaguing civilization will exceed the importance of the invention of the wheel.

  1. It’s a shame you don’t have a donate button! I’d certainly donate to this fantastic blog! I suppose for now i’ll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to my Google account. I look forward to new updates and will talk about this blog with my Facebook group. Talk soon!|

  2. I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?|
